CRKT Overland Compact Pocket Knife
Inspired by the rugged utility of 4x4 off-road rigs, the CRKT Overland Compact takes the award-winning design of its full-sized sibling and shrinks it into a pocket-friendly powerhouse. This "subcompact urban EDC" tool features a 2.24-inch reverse tanto blade with a drop-point geometry, specifically angled to allow for flat-surface cutting—making it as useful for camp food prep as it is for opening boxes. While the original model used 8Cr13MoV steel, this Compact version gets a significant upgrade to D2 tool steel, offering superior edge retention and durability for the toughest conditions.
The handle is a masterclass in ergonomics, combining a grippy OD green G10 scale on the front for a secure hold in wet weather with a stonewashed stainless steel frame lock on the back for brute strength. True to its "overlanding" aesthetic, it features eye-catching orange anodized accents on the pivot ring and backspacer. Weighing only 3.1 ounces and measuring just over 3 inches when closed, it practically disappears in your pocket, yet remains ready to whittle a marshmallow stick or slice through heavy cordage at a moment's notice.
